I would not have given him the time of day.
Ahem... Actually, maybe I would have:
It would have been 'Clooney and the Clown'
This was my favorite shirt. Paired with the turtleneck it seemed like a good idea at the time (and to my defense, those were the seventies. Look, George is wearing a turtleneck too.)
For the record, that haircut ruined my life. I was 11 and my hair was my only exterior sign of femininity. Idiots asked of I was a boy or a girl. I haven't dared cut my hair since. And look at those chicklet teeth :)
When I first started blogging there was a fun meme going around where bloggers posted pictures of themselves as kids. Now that i've shown you my worst, who wants to play? You post a picture of yourself as a kid on your blog (and tell us a bit about you then) and tag new bloggers. I tag:

Oh my goodness! I had the same experience when I was 11! It was a terrible time and like you I now always have long hair!
As for George, well, you wouldn't would you. Aren't we cruel? Bless him.
Thanks for sharing x

Thank you! The U2 concert was like magic. I am still in a happy U2 cloud. I wish you could have been there with me.

lol Actually, I was cool then, Corine. (I don't say it, my friends do. One was quoted saying it in a freaking article. I thought, wha?) I'm going through my awkward phase NOW. Waaah. (I think you're both cute as buttons.)

Which one is George? (Sorry, I couldn't resist...) Seriously I will take you up on the challenge but you will have to wait until October when I'm back in our winter home where I have the photo albums in the vault. I will dig out my class photo from the same age as it's only fair. Love love love your blog. And your long hair. And you, bien sur.

Oh that picture of George makes me laugh. Too bad I didn't improve that much. As to a kids picture of me, one of my favorites in in the sidebar of my blog. Not quite the same, but...
