Have you been there before? Sounds so perfect!

I love NYC! You will have a blast!

Have a super time :-) I have never been, or been to America either..sure you will enjoy it. I know you said about East or West, so what was the choice?

FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!!!

Oh you lucky ducky. I would love to go there too.
Can't wait to hear all about it.

wow - NYC in the summer! I lived there for years before moving back to Boston, you'll have fun and it is very different than CA.
Enjoy!
Christine

Great stuff!! Not too bad at all!! ... sounds perfect!

Great stuff!! .. Not too bad at all!! It sounds perfect! So exciting!

Yippee, Corine. Can't wait for details...

Now you're a mere 500 miles away, not 3,000. Almost neighbours.

How exciting -- can't wait to hear more! I used to live in NYC, and had a definite love/hate relationship with the city. It can also break you down with 1,000 small aggravations, but it also can be magical.

(And if you're figuring out where to live, I highly recommend Brooklyn. Some crazy Manhattanites refuse to visit Brooklyn, but I was the complete opposite. If I could have stayed in Brooklyn without working in the city, I never would have left! Very lovely, neighborhood-based, almost European feel.)

Great destination...Happy weekend, happy planning, xv.

That's great, Corinne. You'll bloom in NY!

I have been dreaming of NYC all spring, I would love to go there! Lucky you! Take alot of pictures

i think you've made an excellent choice corine! let me know if you'd like any recommendations?

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! NY watch out!!! can't wait!

This makes me miss my dear NYC!

What a place to catch a tan!

How lucky are you???

i moved back east 3 years ago after living in CA for 11 years. i now live just outside nyc, easy commuting distance on metro north, and we all LOVE it. so much culture to enjoy. and restaurants and lolling about in one fabulous cafe after another. galleries and museums, shopping of course, lovely. beaches with dunes on long island, shakespeare in the park, summer at lincoln center, all fabulous, oh and don't forget farmers market at union square. loads of fun things to see and do. when i lived in nyc before, i lived everywhere at one point or another, village, chelsea, brooklyn heights, upper east side, upper west side, etc. they all have their charms. you can't go wrong really. wonderful news.

I hope I can see you before you leave.:-) Oui?
