What they were thinking about?

Right. And there was this awful post on her blog about shaving her chow and spinning its fur into yarn. To use for keepsakes. KEEPSAKES! WITH DOG HAIR! I can't think of anything more disgusting. "Here is your tea cozy; I made it with dog hair."

Umm....I can't think of one reason I would want to dress my kid as a Thanksgiving turkey or a lobster.

Goodness me - thats sort of horrific. I think MS is losing it a little and I'm with Cat - not a Martha fan myself.
What was ever wrong with the traditional ?

I agree that the babies dressed as food it rather strange and it's a wonder that that pie spatula never feel off on to that sweet little innocent baby... hope she doesn't move..
BUT..... there is Nothing wrong with spinning dog hair.. I was a spinner/weaver for years and I spun everything...furs , fleeces and hair .. it's renewable and the animals don't die.. What would ever be the problem with spinning doghair??? Do you wear wool P.? don't go overboard!!
