Yeah it was a bit of a mess. I hope I wasn't the only one snarking on it. That quote in her apology post isn't mine so I must assume someone else had issues.

It's really frustrating from the mea culpa post and the zillion ass kissing comments that follow that now I look like an immature psycho that got pissed off at not being included on the cool list. That is the most ridiculous part. They would never list my blog on real simple. I drop too many F-bombs and don't even talk about design half the time.

It was about making suggestions that control how people recieve information. It was also about how the title insinuates that the thousands of blogs people spend so much time writing are just "smog" on the internet. I get it...blog and smog rhyme...it's an adorbable title, or whatever. I just think it was an arrogant choice of wording.

Any sort of blog-writing expert (do such people exist) would probably tell me what I have done is very very bad. I should not get on the bad side of people with a ton of readers. It's regretable. I really have nothing against Holly or her blog. I subscribe and I like it a lot. It was just the one article. I was just putting out there my personal opinion that was different than Holly's opinion. I have different opinions than lots of people I like and respect. I wish this hadn't turned into Holly being a victim and me and the rest of the complainers being mean bullies who are just jealous of her success.

I've totally written an essay here. To be honest I'm getting kind of bored with this whole situation.

Basically, thank you for actually comprehending what I wrote and not making it about the people involved. I love your blog and have been a loyal reader.

Oh yeah and that rabbit picture is just messed up....in the best way possible

Oh yeah that above comment is from me, the writer of Reclaiming Miss Havisham. Should have mentioned that part.

I know what you mean! I cut my list to 200!!! then after clearing out my list I added another 100... I think I am going to limit myself 500. Yea that sounds like a doable number!

If Spielberg was to give his list of ten favorite movies, we would all be interested and no filmmaker big or small would take offense. But if Spielberg suggested we all limit our intake of movies to ten, and added his list in passing, it would take on an entire different meaning, wouldn't it?

THANK YOU Corine for saying succinctly what I could not.

OK, I officially love this blog. Glad you found me so I could find you!!

I read yours
