I'm okay now

Friday, i took it upon myself to trudge through the house with a ladder twice my weight and dislodge cobwebs in those hard to reach high ceiling area. After an hour or so of dragging, pulling, climbing and reaching and dealing with all the dust I sneezed. It was once of those great big sneeze Ah-ha HAAAAAAAA….. shoooooOOOOOOO !

Hu-oh!

I threw my back out in horrible ways and could hardly move all weekend. I could not sit at my desk, hence the lack of posts. The only way my spine accepted to bend was in the fetal position. I never watch TV but I made up for lost time and caught up on serious garbage such as ‘make me a supermodel’, ‘the 20 riches heiresses,’ and ‘millionaire matchmaker’. (Oops, looks like that show is actually financing part of our très glamorous lifestyle. Ahem…)
But mostly I watched food shows: 'top chef', 'food challenge', 'iron chef'. Since all I was able to do was be flat on my back and drool, at least there was an excuse to my drooling.

I liked the show ‘ace of cake’. About a bunch of friends who run Charm City Cake in Baltimore. They are kind, funny and love what they do which gives the show a 'myth buster' flavor. What a fun bunch. I can't think of a better job than to make cake with friends for a living. I’m thinking of asking them to adopt me.

That dead armadillo is...odd. lol Sorry you put out your back, and were stuck with total tripe on tv!! Shoulda sent out for whole seasons on dvd of DECENT shows, lol. That's the only way to watch some of them. :p

I want to be adopted by Ace of Cakes too! It's such a fun show and the cakes are alway so ingenious. I love the redhead girl with glasses whose name escapes me. So sorry to hear about your back..
