Here is a scoop for all you foodies. There is a brand new, nearly unknown French restaurant in my neck of the woods and the food is AMAZING. There are no other words for it. It's a small totally unpretentious place called the Canyon Bistro. It's tucked in Topanga Canyon, so hidden and out of sight no one knows about it yet unless they live there. I just received an e-mail featuring a special prix-fixe, five course dinner for Valentine's day. Here is the menu, and I'm telling you for 65 bucks and free corkage it really is a bargain. 'm going. And no I'm not paid to say this.
.. they had me at Amuse Bouche.
I have been there and shamelessly pigged out on their sweet-potatoe-fries. Loved 'em.

How COOL!!!! I grew up in Topanga Canyon... Is near the General Store market with all the little shops in the parking lot?? Just wondering... Leesa :)
