Did you notice the subtle change? Days are lengthening!
And no it isn’t premature to get excited. Magnolia trees are just about ready to burst with thick, fat blooms all over town.
I’ve just about had it with those three interminable weeks of winter we have to cope with here in Southern California. Sheesh…

superbes photos ! chez nous, c'est le mimosa qui est en fleur, et meme si je n'aime pas trop cette fleur, c'est un petit gout sucre de printemps en janvier.

OMG, I am absolutely dieing for spring! It may be blooming in So Cal but not here in No Cal. I hate the winter! And I am not even living in a cold climate!Cooped up inside, no garden to speak of, dark days, short days, Dec, Jan and Feb seem to go on forever!
