The Ice Hotel in Sweeden

The lovely French blog Une Touche De found it before me. She discovred a post in the blog Purple Area about the IceHotel.

I could not imagine a more magical and romantic setting than the one in the pictures below, or a more adventurous. Just bring a robust Viking's constitution as you will be sleeping in below freezing condition. You can even get married there. Just bring extra socks for the wedding night.

here is the information about the hotel given in Purple Areaa>:
"These images are from the Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi. This is a hotel in north of Sweden built only with iceblocks from the river. The hotel melt during spring and is rebuilt every year. Right now this years hotel is under construction to be opened in the middle of December. The images are from earlier years when designers from all over the world designed the rooms."

en fait, dans cet endroit, ce n'est pas le froid qui me rebuterait (l'hotel fournit des duvets super chauds) mais le fait d'être enfermé, on doit devenir un peu claustro là dedans, non ?

Ce n'est pas une constitution de Viking qu'il me faut pour dormirla mais plutot un beau Viking blond et bien chaud. N'empeche c'est magnifique, on dirait Narnia.

This is probably a shot in the dark but I found your blog when I googled "Marie Claires Idees" and "San Diego" and wondered if you can refer me to a store nearby that sells the magazine. I just moved to San Diego and one of my issues didn't get forwarded to me. I'm dying to see the latest one!

I've made plans to stay here for the next couple days just to try out the place. I will definitely have fun here I'm sure of it.
