Two hotels have caught my attention lately. The blogger YoupiTouch is getting some R&R in Saint Tropez. I wonder where she stayed. I would recommend the sublime Hotel La Maison Blanche. This has got to be relaxing: modern, trendy French décorating set in beautiful old architecture, and oodles of serene white splendor. If I were the owner, I’d frisk the guest to make sure they’re don't try to smuggle Nutella in.
Tout simplement merveilleux!
And relatively inexpensive: one night at Hotel La Maison Blanche cost the same as a single spa treatment at Hotel Azucar in San Rafal, Mexico, discovered in the beautiful Emma’s blog.
How could a French hotel be so cheap? Well, it’s the other way around, how could a massage cost so incredibly much? A Japanese hot stone massage as Hotel Azucar will set you back $750.
You must call to find out about room rates. Hmmm I wonder why? One guess is they want to be assured that you’re sitting and have plenty of pillows to fall on when they announce the price of a room.
Nevertheless, the setting is pure bliss, and I’m sure the massage is well worth it. This gives me an idea for a business. Get the kids to collect a few stones, stick them in the microwave (the stones, not the kids), and charge my friends $750 to put it on their bare backs. I might be on to something, non?
Ahhh, but to be a librarian in that bibiloteca for even a few instants...

ça fait rêver tout ça...
I wish !

What a beautiful hotel! But I am SURE I would spill something or smudge the walls or do something to ruin all that beautiful white within the first few minutes. Probably chocolate smudges. It would never survive my visit.
