Found today in the not to be missed French blog Buis et Zinc, (boxwood and zinc ) those magnificent photographs of Sicily that made me long, and dream, and long some more for such old world beauty. 
I'm told that Sicily's water is cold? Why? The Mediterranean is a closed sea. Reminds me of Southern California with its wide expanses of unbearably FRIGID water. I cannot have cold water on vacation, thank you very much. I like my sea and ocean tepid. But still, such, such beauty....
The beauty and history in Italy,
seems to out way the idea of
flocking in the Mediterranean sea. So many other options. You'll always have the warm waters of Kauai.

Ah Sicily, such a beautiful place. I never forget my vacation there. Loved the food, Siciliana pizza is the best pizza in the whole world. By the way i don't remember that the sea water was cold.
